Mangroves are under increased pressure from human activity and climate change. Large plots of mangroves have been cleared to make way for development and natural elements such as increased sargassum floods and shoreline erosion add further stress factors. The Mangroves face a dire future unless we change our ways.
Cayman Mangrove Conservation is a group of passionate volunteers that are working tirelessly to educate the community on the importance of mangroves. In addition we are constantly undertaking monitoring and restoration projects to map the area's under threat, help nature restore itself, and sound the alarm bells when we detect mangrove destruction.
Are you passionate about what we're doing? Let us know! We are always looking for volunteers to help us make our vision a reality. We'll help you find a way to volunteer that best suits you. We're excited to have you join the team!
Whether you help through monetary donations, volunteering your time, or spreading our mission through word-of-mouth, thank you. We couldn't accomplish our goals without the help of supporters like you.
