Refund & Returns Policy

At Save Mangroves Nursery, we take great pride in growing and shipping healthy live Red Mangrove Plants to all 50 U.S. states. Because these are living organisms, our refund and returns policy is designed to reflect the sensitive nature of live plant shipping while ensuring our customers receive top-quality plants.
1. All Sales Are Final on Live Plants
Due to the fragile nature of live plants, all sales are final once your order has shipped. We cannot accept returns or offer refunds on live mangroves for reasons such as:

Change of mind

Wrong item ordered

Improper tank or lighting conditions
-
Delayed delivery caused by shipping carriers
-
Failure to retrieve your package within 3 hours upon delivery where the plants will either bake in the hot sun or freeze due to your climate
We strongly encourage you to review your tank setup and address details carefully before placing an order.
2. Damaged or Dead on Arrival (DOA) Plants
We guarantee that all mangroves leave our nursery alive and healthy. However, if your plants arrive damaged or dead on arrival (DOA), please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear images of the entire plant that are taken within 3 hours of delivery timestamp according to the tracking number that was provided to you.
To qualify for a replacement or store credit:

Email help@savemangroves.com within 48 hours of delivery timestamp

Include clear photos of the entire damaged or dead plants along with close up photos as well

Provide your order number and a short description of the issue
We will review your case promptly and may offer:

A replacement (if available), or
-
A store credit equal to the value of the damaged plants

A refund
3. Missing or Incorrect Items
If your order is missing an item or contains the wrong item, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
We will:

Correct the issue by shipping the correct item at no cost, or
-
Offer a store credit for the missing item
4. Return Shipping Not Accepted
We do not accept returned live plants under any circumstances. Attempting to return live mangroves may result in the plants dying during transit, and we cannot reintroduce returned plants into our nursery for biosecurity reasons.
5. Shipping Delays & Conditions
Once your order leaves our hands, it is in the care of USPS, UPS, or FedEx. We are not responsible for delays, damage, or loss caused by:

Weather conditions

Postal delays or rerouting

Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided by the customer
We recommend tracking your shipment and being available to receive your package on the expected delivery date.
6. Customer Responsibility
Before ordering, it is your responsibility to:

Understand how to properly care for Red Mangrove plants

Ensure your aquarium or tank setup is appropriate

Provide accurate shipping and contact details

7. Cancellation Policy
Orders may only be canceled before they are shipped. If your order has already been packed or handed off to a carrier, it cannot be canceled.
To request a cancellation before shipment, email us at help@savemangroves.com as soon as possible.
